It’s a pleasure to introduce you to our newest contributor who will be sharing her emotional wellness tips, sharing her career change journey with us, and add insights into this modern world that we’re thriving in.
A former attorney with experience as a solo practitioner and tax litigator, Katie Chamberlain Kritikos now lives in downtown Chicago and recently established Katydid Yoga, LLC. Katie discovered yoga in 2001 in her high school library. Yoga followed her to college at The University of Alabama, graduate school in Illinois and New York City, and a law practice in rural Illinois and downtown Chicago, keeping her centered, calm, and confident.
After a recent diagnosis of hypothyroidism, evolving writer and lawyer Katie finally let yoga lead the way to a creative career empowering students to live healthy, meaningful lives. As a Wild Abundant Life certified yoga teacher and Yoga Alliance RYT-200, Katie incorporates adventure and silliness into her classes. When she’s not writing, reading, or practicing handstands, Katie enjoys studying French and German, taking long walks with her husband, and sampling craft beer.
