Have you ever noticed that when you’re having an awesome day that your thoughts are awesome too?
The same happens when you’re having a bad day. Most likely … your thoughts were negative and you probably did some negative self-talking.
What’s really interesting about how you think is that … how you think influences your actions.
I remember when I first started learning about the power of our thoughts.
It was really eye opening to learn that we have control over our thoughts.
A lot of people really never pay attention to how their thinking impacts their day, week, and life.
You’ve heard the quote … “change your thoughts, change your life.” It literally is true!
But … if you tend to be a negative thinker, no worries. You CAN change the way you think.
There are ways that you can think yourself to a better you. Once you learn this and do it every day, it will become like habit for you.
1. Tap Into Yourself
Notice how you think and talk to yourself. Is it negative? Your thoughts are a choice, so ask yourself … why am I choosing to think this thought? Then, choose a better thought.
2. Be a Student of Learning
Always be improving yourself through self development. Read books, listen to podcasts, and invest in classes that lift you up and inspire you to be more.
3. Focus on Gratitude
No one is immune to having a bad day. If you catch yourself feeling stressed out, take a minute to appreciate yourself and all the great things in your life. And it doesn’t have to be some huge life event for you to celebrate. Simply look in the mirror and say … I’m a rock star, and then list three things that you love about yourself.
Creating a better you … is simply a thought away!
