Hello SOTGC community,
You are awesome, just like when you were 5. You woke up full of awesome. You knew you were awesome. You loved yourself, your body and the things it could do. You thought you were beautiful. Do you still have it – the awesome?

As author and coach Emily Bennington shared in her interview with Marney Reid on SOTGC, “To have an amazing career, you must first be an amazing woman.”
How do we become “an amazing woman”? By establishing our whole person balance: Clarity of mind, purpose & belief, physical and emotional health, financial stability and an inner confidence derived from these things that renders us free to be awesome! And you should know that this woman of confidence and freedom is truly beautiful and wildly attractive to the world around her – welcoming in love, abundance, success and joy. I can hear her giggle with glee and she is inside you longing to be called forth if she has been forgotten or somehow lost.

I have been working on my personal awesome these past few months and healing my need to find my true voice and raw, real beauty. That just right spot that allows me to not be so self-conscious but simply self-aware and outward rather than inwardly focused. A place where I’m not striving for my success but enjoying the journey because I understand the process of seed, time and harvest and I don’t impatiently fight it but gently welcome it. It’s taken coaching and mentoring to find this place but let me tell you, it’s working. I enjoy my work so much more, my health is improving and when I really look not-so-cute, my amazing fiancé finds me the most attractive because he senses my confidence and light and love and with our very strong personalities we can be at peace and laugh out loud together.
And per the sign that sits on my desk, I’m reminded:
How to BE Awesome? Wake up, be awesome all day, go to bed. It’s simple really. No matter where you are, what you’re doing or how you feel, be your best self.
“When you are interiorly free you call others to freedom, whether you know it or not. Freedom attracts wherever it appears. A free man or a free woman creates a space where others feel safe and want to dwell. Our world is so full of conditions, demands, requirements, and obligations that we often wonder what is expected of us. But when we meet a truly free person, there are no expectations, only an invitation to reach into ourselves and discover there our own freedom. Where true inner freedom is, there is God. And where God is, there we want to be.” – Henri Nouwen
