Hello SOTGC community,
I was just lent this book called “Crush It!” and I thought to myself how can I apply this to golf for business?
In the book Gary Vaynerchuk talks about the shift in how we will do business in the future and how we should live our passion. I was fortunate enough a year ago to have the gusto to move out to San Diego and start my business highheelgolfer. He says that if you want it badly enough, the money is there, the success is there, and the fulfillment is there, all you have to do is take it. Oh and quit whining and quit crying and definitely quit the excuses.
So get out there and be passionate about something in your life like I am about golf, and if you’re serious about getting ahead in your career you need to be where the business is. If that means you need to be on LinkedIn making connections or on the golf course turning those connections into relationships, then get out there and start sweating. Now is the time for us women to sprint ahead of our peers because money is no longer holding us back, it’s the “not working hard enough and in a smart enough way” that is.
I highly recommend reading or listening to crush it by Gary Vaynerchuk if you are in need of a jump start!
See you next time on tee time with champagne!
