Hello SOTGC Readers. I live in sunny San Diego and do surgical device sales for a Global industry leader. I graduated with a Business-Economics degree from UCSB falling a couple classes short of French and Spanish minors. Over the past 9 years of my sales career I’ve opened new territories, doubled my growth quotas, risen through the sales ranks faster than most, attained President Club status, become clinically and strategically one of the best in my company, and until recently, I was a failure.
I failed to be brave enough to define my own version of success, which led me to be confused as to what I REALLY wanted. I failed to attain that “next level up” position in my company because my internal insecurities and issues were holding me back. I failed because I didn’t realize that to have a wildly successful career, I had to first become an extremely self-aware and emotionally intelligent woman.
Stilettos On The Glass Ceiling shares my story about how fixing the internal issues has helped, and is helping me attain external success, both as a woman, a professional, and a mentor. Now I’m succeeding in defining my own version of success. Now I’m embracing this new journey of becoming an entrepreneur. Now I’m offering my first hand experience, my help, the knowledge I’m gaining and the connections I’m making, to help you break free of the Golden Handcuffs of your corporate life. Now I’m going to be helping others define their own version of success, and help future entrepreneurs figure out “what they’d even do” if they could create their dream company, and dream career.
Please interact with myself and my amazing guest authors as this is a forum for sharing ideas, creativity, and helping each other rise through personal growth and support. Thank you for visiting our site and please email me with any questions or ideas: firstname.lastname@example.org

When people say, ‘if you want something done well, give it to a busy person,’ they might be talking about commercial real estate agent and broker Lindsey Smith. Her go-getter attitude has gained the attention of movers and shakers in business and charitable sectors, and they always seem to want Lindsey on their teams.
In November 2011, just in time for her 30th birthday, Lindsey founded San Diego Office Properties. Lindsey’s approach to business has been the foundation for her significant success at such a young age: “It’s more than the business; it’s the people behind it.” She takes the time to treat each client as a partner, finding an office and lease that match their strategy, culture and budget, ensuring a perfect fit. Lindsey spends as much time on building relationships as she does on negotiations.
Lindsey’s background has positioned her well for starting a new company. For eight years she worked at international commercial real estate giants CB Richard Ellis and Cassidy Turley. Her tenure at Cassidy Turley was in that company’s commercial office division working as a leasing agent and a key member of the local team.
