Hello SOTGC community,
I am not a huge fan of New Year’s resolutions. I believe in always reassessing what you are doing and where you can improve. I don’t need a new year to tell me that. BUT the New Year is always a turning point. It’s the end of the Holiday season and a time where we start looking forward to warmer weather, so it is a natural time to make changes.
I would like to share two articles with you:
1. Take the time to reassess your fitness goals.
I wrote a post about this several months ago and think it is worth revisiting a couple of times a year as your priorities change.
2. Eat and work out for the body you want and for the life you want.
I would like to share the infograph below with you from Precision Nutrition. As you can see, it puts things into perspective, nicely but also realistically, addressing everything from body fat to social situations, exercise, food, drinks, and medication.
Reach out to me with any questions or thoughts and share your new goals any time.
Happy New Year! and Stay Active!
